Who we are
DreamBeam is operated by Recursive Systems LLC, 230 Oakridge Avenue, Highwood, Illinois 60040. This policy covers the DreamBeam website, Mac app, control plane, and support.
What we collect
- Account data: email, authentication records, legal acceptance, product-email preference, account status, and sign-in timestamps.
- Product data: workspace names and settings, connected-computer details, provider and integration configuration, chat history, automations, attachments, and private activity records. Activity records contain durable action references and bounded technical metadata. They do not copy chat-message content or event payloads.
- Service data: first-party product events, request metadata, rate-limit counters, and minimized operational and security logs.
- Support data: messages and files you send to support.
Terminal input and output pass through DreamBeam for the live session. DreamBeam stores terminal-session metadata, not a terminal transcript. Workspace files stay on the computer you connect unless you place content in chat, attach it, or send it through an integration.
Why we use it
We use data to authenticate you, run workspaces, route requests to services you choose, provide history and exports, protect the service, support you, meet legal obligations, and measure product reliability. We do not use conversations, responses, attachments, terminal activity, or workspace files to train models.
AI providers and connected services
When you connect a third-party service, DreamBeam sends the data needed for your request to that service. Your use of that service is also governed by its terms and privacy policy. DreamBeam does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Our infrastructure providers are listed on the Subprocessors page.
Human access
DreamBeam does not routinely read workspace content. Support starts with sanitized metadata. We access content only when you give explicit, scoped permission and it is needed to resolve the issue, or when a valid legal request requires it. Access is time-limited and logged.
Retention
- Chats default to deletion 30 days after last activity. A workspace can use 7, 30, 90 days, or keep chats until you delete them. Running chats and chats used by active automations are kept until that activity ends.
- Attachments are deleted with the chat, workspace, or account that contains them.
- Workspace activity records are kept for no more than 30 days. A shorter seven-day chat-retention choice also applies to activity records. Records linked to a deleted chat, workspace, or account are deleted with it.
- First-party product events are kept for up to 13 months or until account closure.
- Routine application logs and traces are kept for up to 30 days.
- Security audit records are kept for up to 12 months. Confirmed incident records may be kept for three years after closure.
- Resolved support correspondence is kept for up to 12 months.
- Marketing suppression records remain after account closure so we honor your unsubscribe.
Primary records are deleted promptly. Encrypted recovery backups may retain deleted records temporarily until the provider's backup cycle expires. We do not restore closed accounts from backup.
Cookies and analytics
DreamBeam uses first-party cookies needed for sign-in and security. At launch, we do not use advertising pixels, third-party analytics, session replay, heatmaps, or persistent identifiers for anonymous visitors. We honor Global Privacy Control by not selling or sharing data, which is already our default.
Your rights
You can export your account data, delete chats and workspaces, change chat retention, unsubscribe from product emails, and close your account in DreamBeam. You may ask to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, or appeal a denied request, at [email protected]. We verify requests before acting. We do not discriminate for exercising a privacy right.
Authorized agents may submit a request with proof of authority. State privacy rights vary and apply only when their legal thresholds and exemptions are met.
Age and location
DreamBeam is for people age 18 or older in the United States. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Legal requests
We notify affected users unless prohibited, challenge invalid or overbroad requests when reasonable, and disclose only what the law requires.
Changes and contact
We will email account holders at least 30 days before a material change when practical. Urgent security or legal changes may take effect sooner with prompt notice. Contact [email protected] or write to the address above.
